I had bought the waterproof organic mattress from Naturepedic but prefer this one as it supports her body more gently and I would rather place a waterproof pad under her bottom area than have her sleeping on an entirely waterproof mattress. This is the kind of mattress I’d sleep on… if we could afford a king size organic mattress! After plenty of research on which organic mattress to choose we went with the firm quilted organic cotton. Our son who is now 15 months old loves it!! I have no complaints. I believe paying the extra money for the quilted cover is worth every penny. I had read too many negative reviews about the plastic covering on the other organic mattresses being too noisy and uncomfortable. In the end we’re glad we went with this one.
